Max Payne, Alan Wake voice actors join 1979 Revolution cast

Ink Stories' Iranian Revolution game, 1979 Revolution, will feature the voice actors behind Max Payne and Alan Wake — if it gets funded on Kickstarter, the studio announced today.

James McCaffrey has voiced the title character in all three of Rockstar Games' Max Payne titles: Max Payne (2001), Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne (2003) and Max Payne 3 (2012). Matthew Porretta lent his voice to Alan Wake in Remedy Entertainment's original 2010 thriller, Alan Wake, as well as its downloadable follow-up from 2012, Alan Wake's American Nightmare.

Both McCaffrey and Porretta have signed on to appear in 1979 Revolution, they announced in a video released today by developer Ink Stories. With less than a week to go, the game's Kickstarter campaign has pulled in more than $108,000, which is approximately 27 percent of Ink Stories' $395,000 goal.
